My dad would bring home reams of used computer paper, the kind that was folded and perforated with tear away holes on the sides. I would draw draw draw. Fast forward to the year 2000 (skipping an illustrious 15 years as a classical pianist), when I began teaching myself web design in order to create a website for an artist friend. I decided to pursue this in school, at the University of Oregon, eventually obtaining an MFA in digital arts at the University of Oregon. I also began to pursue other artistic interests, including felting, spinning, sewing, bookmaking and printmaking. (adventures in these are recorded in my blog, and there are things available for purchase on etsy). I also started taking my songwriting more seriously. I recently spent a year with my band, Susurri, playing around Eugene and making great music. Susurri is currently on hiatus, as ideas for new projects evolve.
